Outdoor Setting
The Northwoods property affords beauty at every turn—while looking out a window of the lodge at Wolf Lake, with trees in the distance and the sunbeams dancing in reflection off the water, or while you are walking through the forest on one of the many available paths, surrounded by peace and quiet.
The sky itself is an array of color and beauty displayed day and night. It can be a clear azure blue or filled with puffy white clouds during the day and then explode with color as the sun rises or sets. At night the sky is filled with stars shining like diamonds from the heavens, the darkness blanketing the earth making the stars’ presence shine forth all the more. On nights when the moon is full, it floods the ground with light, shining brightly from above. It is a display of the awesome majesty of the Creator that will make you stand in awe of His power and love.
The property has more than 20 types of trees, varying in size, texture, and color. The wildlife is varied as well, from deer bounding off into the forest, to beaver splashing into the water and bald eagles soaring through the air or resting atop a tree. Geese, ducks, and loons can be found swimming on the lakes, which are filled with crappie, bass, blue gill, and musky.
The Northwoods is a wonderful place to become quiet before the Lord and to feel the closeness of His presence in nature and realize His incredible love for you.
